New Year-2016

Yes, a New Year has come-2016-and 2015 is gone with good memories. The year 2016 will bring me a new Greatddaughter in February and a new Granddaughter in May which means my Granddaughter Gracie will have a little sister.   I am a very proud Grandma/Great Grandma.  So with this in mind my word for 2016 is "Future".  I am looking forward and the future to playing  with my two new little girls and Gracie.   I am also looking into this"Future 2016 Year" to have seven completed quilts quilted and completely done. (last year I completed 5 quilts)  I plan this "Future" year to have more UFO quilt tops finished. And in this "Future Year" I plan to continue using my scrap stash.  Bonnie Hunter of Quiltville.com continues to inspire me and I am looking forward to her "Future" Mystery Quilt next fall. In the "Future" 2016 months I plan to go on a Retreat in March, going to Paducah with four friends in April and my Guild Retreat in the fall. This future year I want to use my embroidery machine more and to use my EQ7/EQ Stitch.  I wish every one Happy New Year for our "Future" year of 2016.

Bonnie Hunter MQ Block

I have one star block done. I know the picture is blurred, but my  essential tremor is acting up today.  But the picture should give an idea of my colors and fabrics I have chosen. I still have to do steps five  and six. But, I got excited that I could do  1 block for show and tell. Except for the neutrals I stayed with the same fabric throughout.  Thank you Bonnie giving this MQ to everyone.
